Riverton is on the Southern Scenic Route from Milford Sound to Dunedin in the South Island of New Zealand.

The Riverton Rock is a restored historic hotel providing a great base to explore Stewart Island, the Waitutu Forest, Fiordland National Park and the Catlins Coast.
