Historical Guesthouse in Riverton

The seaside town of  Riverton is an easy 40km drive west of Invercargill on the Southern Scenic Route. Once an early Maori settlement, Riverton is the oldest European settlement in New Zealand.

Riverton today is known as a fishing village and holiday town, houses and cribs perched on bush clad hills look out over Taramea Bay and the fishing boats moored in the estuary harbour below.
